AIM
is to provide a sophisticated venue catering to all styles of artistic expression.
Solbar blends cutting edge sound design, with a warm atmosphere to set the stage for performances second to none on the Coast.
Our passion extends from the original and now legendary Solbar in Coolum.
Solbar Maroochydore continues to showcase and encourage original live music.
Whether it be national or international touring acts, or emerging and established local acts, Solbar is the word for Music and Art on the Sunshine Coast.

Our street front lounge bar offers a relaxed, intimate atmosphere for acoustic acts.
Our footpath beer garden is the perfect spot to soak up some sunshine and sink a few cold ones.
We offer epic food at killer prices with plenty of vego and vegan options.
Our Band Room with its purpose built stage provides the high energy space and sound that live music deserves.
Adorning our walls are exhibitions of visual art showcasing the talents of local and national artists.

MISSION
is to create a high quality establishment, where people from all walks of life can meet, to respectfully appreciate all types of artistic expression in a friendly, fun and safe environment.
No steel-caps or dirty workwear, glow up before you show up babes.
No beachwear or gym wear - including trackies, thongs, boardies, bikinis, mankinis & such.
No sombreros, feather boas or party hats, it's all fun and games 'til somebody loses an eye.
Be clean and presentable.
Bags (backpacks, bum bags etc) will be searched on entry and contraband confiscated.
Terms of entry are subject to change and at the end of the day it’s the manager’s decision - No amount of dressing up can save you if you’re being a dickhead so just be a legend.

WE LOVE YOUR EARS
Solbar is a live music venue. This by nature means music played on these premises will be louder than your average home stereo. Every effort is taken by Solbar to ensure decibel levels are within our legal operating limits and at a safe level for patrons. By entering the premises you are taking responsibility for you own auditory safety.
EAR PLUGS ARE AVAILABLE ON REQUEST AT THE BAR
ACCESSIBILITY
Here at Solbar, inclusivity is our jam. We want our space to feel safe and welcoming for all.
We accept companion cards at all our shows, and can provide a seat on request in the band room if needed. For frothers in wheelchairs we can't always guarantee a good view, but we can certainly try to find a spot for you with a decent view of the stage, just come introduce yourself before the show kicks off and we'll see what we can swing ya.
We have ramp access to the venue and ambulant toilets, and if you're ever having an ish, we're always happy to try to make ya as comfy as we can, just let us know how we can help.
